Dark Lady’s black dress is a self-drafted, sleeveless beaded gown with princess seams that become slits in the front. The beaded fabric was basted to black lining fabric and the beads were removed from the seam allowance by hand prior to sewing the pieces together.

The flowy blue and pink portion of the dress was designed as a separate gathered chiffon skirt with two slits in the front.

The red blouse is a self-drafted long-sleeve organza blouse.

The black collar and cuffs were made of interfaced satin with lace and beaded trim sewn onto the upper and lower edges. Iridescent crystals were sewn onto the front and ribbons were sewn to the ends as closures.

Red beaded anklets were created to match red pumps (repurposed from Usagi of Oz).

The wig was styled using a Classic Chibi wig and a long wefts, both from Arda Wigs in Rose Pink. The weft was divided into two and used to create Dark Lady’s long ponytails by sewing a hair elastic at the top of each piece.

The forehead crescent ornament is from UniqueCosplayProps on Etsy and the hair pins were ordered from Amazon.
